Our Story

It didn't start with a business plan. When Joel from New Jersey first came to South Tyrol, he was looking for a break between the Dolomites — what he found was something much bigger: a connection to a region built on craftsmanship, tradition, and people who pour their hearts into their work.

During his repeated visits, Joel met Jana, a South Tyrol native from Brixen with deep roots in the local producer community. What began as shared hikes and long conversations grew into a genuine friendship — and from that friendship came a simple question: why shouldn't the extraordinary products of South Tyrol reach people in the United States, too?

That question became Alpine Bridge Trading in 2025 — quite literally a bridge between two worlds, built by two founders who complement each other from opposite sides of the Atlantic. Joel brings a sharp understanding of the American market; Jana brings roots, relationships, and firsthand knowledge of the region's producers.

Great products deserve great stories.

Behind every jar of honey, every coffee bean, and every bar of chocolate are people worth knowing. That's why Alpine Bridge Trading works closely and collaboratively with its South Tyrolean partners — built on fairness, transparency, and mutual respect rather than a conventional buyer-supplier relationship.

Alpine Bridge Trading stands for what brought its founders together in the first place: the belief that origin, quality, and real relationships matter — whether between friends or between continents.
